Lani's childhood memories are flooded with music...falling asleep to children's records at night, singing to guitar and ukulele after dinner, learning the magic of harmonies from her mom on the piano and sitting in the audience of London musicals, star-struck and mesmerized.

Lani began studying the piano at age five, but was especially drawn to vocals. She strengthened her chops in church choirs, high school theatre and college variety shows. Landing in the Bay Area in the mid-90s, Lani worked and recorded with a number of local artists, including cover band 200 Stories, indie pop group Parting Glance and Boston transplant Alex Dolan. She currently performs with the Gun and Doll Show, a theatrical rock experience. More of You is Lani's first solo album.
